|EYH Conference Mentors
Mentorship is an important aspect in reaching any career goal and the EYH Conference is no exception! Girls are guided through the conference day’s activities by female college-age students, most of whom are pursuing degrees in science, technology, or engineering studies.
Through mentorship, you can have a positive impact on a young girl who is interested in pursuing a STEM profession! Please contact email@example.com for more information!
Network for Undergraduate Women in STEM (NUWISTEM) STARTING IN 2017 - REGISTRATION OPEN NOW (SEE BELOW)!
Participants in the other EYH programs are offered the opportunity to join the Network for Undergraduate Women in STEM (NUWISTEM). This program is available to college students who serve as EYH mentors in at least one conference year, and to past participants of other EYH programs who are entering college. If an undergraduate woman is interested in joining the program but has not yes volunteered with EYH, they can register for an upcoming opportunity. Members are only required to volunteer in one event per year to register.
The program provides quarterly opportunities for undergraduate women in STEM to network with peers and STEM professionals, participate in various workshops geared towards job skill development, and learn about careers, internships, scholarships, and other STEM resources within our community. NUWISTEM coordinates with STEM professional associations, industry partners, and other technical entities to provide these opportunities.
Workforce development is the focus of this program, and provides a unique connection between San Diego STEM industries and the next generation of STEM professionals.
If you are part of the San Diego STEM industry or a member of a Professional Organization and would like to host an event or other opportunity in 2017 for Undergraduate Women in STEM, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
